Since 03rd November 2023 our new B737-800F LZ-CGE has joined the fleet of CARGO AIR and is available in Leipzig for ad-hoc flights and scheduled programs.
Following the project tor airline fleet renovation, replacing the 737 Classic with 737 NG, a new B737-800F with registration LZ-CGD has been included in Cargo Air AOC on 21st February 2023.
In May 2023 Cargo Air participated in Aviation Football Cup. The annual football tournament with 15 years of international experience in 50 nations from 5 continents. Which they achieved by a rule that they never repeat a location twice.
After a tough group’s draw Cargo Air managed a staggering victory in the first game. The second game they showed a respectable fight but were ultimately defeated by last year’s champions Oman Air. Although our team managed to leave a mark in the sunny town of Torrevieja playing brave and organised football, they fell short on the last hurdle losing an extremely close match with IAG Engine which saw us fail to reach the semi-finals.
Some notable teams that played in the tournament are: Oman Air, Saudia Airlines, Athens Airport, Air Astana, Air France, Nouvelair and IAG Engines.
B737-800 MSN30881 is the latest acquisition of Cargo Air and was inducted in Commercial Jet facility in Miami, FL for pax-to-freighter conversion on 05th July 2023. The aircraft is expected to enter in commercial services in October 2023.
